Lincoln man arrested for stealing cars in Thorold

Police believe they have arrested a man responsible for stealing cars and gutting them of vital parts in Thorold.
The man was arrested Friday morning after police were called to the area of Rosemore Road and Pelham Road in St. Catharines to a report of a man attempting to steal vehicle parts.
Officers later charged the man with two other incidents.
On September 25th a vehicle had been stolen overnight from a residential street in Thorold. The vehicle was later recovered and it was learned that numerous automotive parts and personal effects were stolen from within the vehicle.
On October 3rd another Thorold resident's vehicle had been stolen from the street overnight. The vehicle was recovered and found to be missing several vital automotive parts and personal effects.
The 32 year old man from Lincoln is charged with Possession of Break in Instruments,- Theft of Motor Vehicle, Mischief Under $5000, Theft Under $5000, and Use Stolen Credit Card.
