Pregnant women in west Niagara have another option when it comes to prenatal care and delivering their babies.

5 midwives have branched out to open Lincoln Community Midwives in Beamsville.

The centre on Queen Street will service women who would like a midwife for women in west Niagara, while Niagara Midwifery covers the rest of the region.

Mothers do not need a referral to see a midwife, and care is covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan.
