Pelham skateboarder dies after colliding with car
A 14 year old Pelham boy who collided with a car while skateboarding last week has died in hospital from his injuries.
Police say the teen passed away yesterday at McMaster Children's hospital.
His name is not being released at this time.
The boy sustained critical injuries after he was skateboarding with another teen on Foss Road near Balsam Street last Wednesday shortly after 7 pm.
At the same time, a car driven by a 32 year old Welland woman collided with the boy.
No one else was injured, including a four year old passenger in the woman's car.
The accident remains under investigation.
