The days of hidden fees and expiry dates on prepaid credit cards are numbered.

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty will introduce new rules today barring issuers of prepaid credit cards from imposing expiry dates.

The new regulations will also require an information box disclosing the fees be displayed prominently on the card's exterior package and other documentation.
