It will truly be the end of an era in Fort Erie.

Tomorrow, marks the last day of live racing at the town's racetrack which is slated to close its door after 115 years in business.

But town officials are still optimistic the venue can be saved.

Talks continue with overseas investors to buy the facility and bring back the horses in time for next year.
