Garbage, recycling and large item collection update

All garbage and recycling vehicles will be collecting material on Tuesday, however, due to high winds, residents are encouraged to only place their Green Bin and large household items, that have already been scheduled for pickup, at the curbside. Materials should be placed at the curbside on Tuesday morning by 7 a.m., not left out overnight.

Residents with a regular Tuesday collection day will receive a one bag/can exemption on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

If trees and tree limbs have fallen overnight, which obstructs traffic, anticipate delays in garbage and recycling collection.  Call the Niagara Region’s waste info line at 905-356-4141 or 1-800-594-5542 for the latest information on garbage and recycling collection.
