Police looking for driver after a senior was hit trying to cross the road in Fort Erie
Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit a senior trying to cross a road in Fort Erie Friday night and then took off.
An elderly man suffered serious injuries when he was struck on Stevensville Road at Main Street at 6:15p last night.
The driver of the car is believed to be a young, white woman.
The vehicle was a dark grey or blue older mid-sized, four door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet or Pontiac from the year 2000.
The car may have front end damage on the driver's side.
The pedestrian was transported by Niagara EMS to the Niagara Health System - Niagara Falls site - in serious, but stable condition.
