Police are searching for two men, one armed with a handgun, involved in a Thorold hold up.

Two men entered Sherry's Dollar Spot on Pine Street just after 9 last night and demanded cash from the lone employee.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

Both were wearing dark coloured jackets and ski masks.

After the cashier handed over some cash, both men fled.

The K-9 Unit was brought in but failed to find the armed duo.
