Accused in attempted abduction case talks with CKTB
The man accused of the attempted abduction of a five year old boy from the Seaway Mall over the weekend is telling his side of the story.
CKTB News contacted 44 year old Steven Hozjan of Pelham.
He says he was at the mall to buy a pair of rubber boots when he went into the toy section at Zellars.
Hozjan said "his hand came to me and I wanted to show him some toys and I was scared and then they escorted me out of the store."
Following a picture released from security cameras, Niagara Regional Police made an arrest.
Hozjan is facing a charge of abduction of a child under the age of 14.
