More than $242,000 in cash, food and other donations has been raised in Astral Niagara's 8th annual Great Holiday Food Drive in support of Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold!

The staggering amount was raised over a 12 hour period, outside of 12 Yates St., home of Newstalk 610 CKTB, 105.7 EZ Rock and 97.7 HTZ-FM.

Food donations alone filled an entire St. Catharines transit bus.  In all, almost three bus loads of food was fdonated to the organization.

Thanks to the generosity of the community in which it serves, Community Care will be able to help feed thousands of people in the Niagara this holiday season and will be able to help many families have a brighter Christmas.

If you weren't able to make a donation, Community Care is continuing to accept donations at both its locations on 12 North St. in S. Catharines and at their Thorold branch at 19 Albert St. W.
