Could Niagara have a white Christmas this year?
Could Niagara actually have a white Chirstmas this year?
Environment Canada isn't necessarily ruling it out as a messy blast of winter weather could be headed our way by the weekend.
A special weather statement has been issued for much of the province, including Southern Ontario, outlining details of a low pressure system that's currently developing over Colorado. It's expected to track towards us Wednesday and Thursday.
It will start out as snow, chaging over to rain, then changing back to snow Friday night before ending Saturday.
Environment Canada says it's still too early to say if we'll see any snow accumulations in Niagara and Southern Ontario. It all depends on the track the storm takes. At this point, it appears Northern and Eastern Ontario will bear the brunt of the storm but Environment Canada is keeping a close eye on the weather system.
