It has been a busy day for police and other emergency services on Niagara roads heading into the first weekend of 2013.
Niagara Regional Police have responded to over a dozen accidents, especially in rural parts of the region, according to Niagara Regional Police Constable Derek Watson.
Watson reports some minor injuries and property damage due to the accidents.
He says a lot of them have been cleared but some remain on going.
The NRP are urging everyone to take their time on Niagara roads because of the weather conditions.
