An emotional hearing was held today in Colorado for the Aurora theatre massacre that killed 12 people and wounded 58 in July.
Two veteran police officers broke down on the stand talking about the middle of the night horror they saw at the theatre that day.
Officer Justin Grizzle wiped away tears describing bodies lying motionless on the floor surrounded by massive pools of blood.
Ambulances were in short supply so Grizzle ended up taking victims to the hospital in his police car making four trips overall.
During testimony, accused shooter James Holmes showed little or no reaction or emotion.
