West Lincoln council looking at crafting a 2 kilometre setback in by-laws over the contentious issue of wind Turbines.

Wainfleet has a similar by-law.

But, Mayor Doug Joyner says it's not enforceable.

He's disappointed his council is going down the same road and re-opening old wounds.

The meeting at the South Lincoln High School Wednesday night came after residents on both sides of the wind turbine issue showed up at a mid-December council meeting, packing the small council chambers to overflowing.

Both sides were hoping to weigh in on the Niagara Wind Corporations plan to put wind turbines in West Lincoln, Wainfleet and Lincoln.
