Armed home invasion in Niagara Falls

Police are looking for three men after a home invasion in Niagara Falls.

It happened at 1am Saturday at a home in the area of Garner and Mountain Roads.

Three men clad in balaclavas, armed with guns and pepper spray forced their way into a home and confronted the homeowners.

During the altercation, the pepper spray was discharged and one resident was shot in the leg.

That resident received non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.

The three suspects fled the residence on foot and were last seen in the direction of Kalar Road.

The suspects were all described as white, tall and thin.

At this time in the investigation it appears that this residence was targeted.
