An early morning stabbing in St.Catharines has police looking for two suspects.

Police were called to the St.Catharines General at 3 o'clock this morning after a man went to the ER with stab wounds.

The victim was stabbed after a fight with two unknown men in the area of York Street and Welland Ave.

Police say one suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck and abdomen.

Both wounds were superficial cuts and required minor treatment by medical staff.

The suspects are described as white males, 20-25 years.

The main suspect had short blond hair and was wearing a a light blue jacket.
