Training camp opens today for N-H-L players, one day after they overwhelmingly accepted an agreement to end the 17-week lockout.
Team owners ratified the deal four days ago.
Last night, the N-H-L released a shortened schedule in which each team will play 48 games instead of the usual 82.
The first games will be next Saturday.
One of hockey's greatest rivalries will help kick off the season. Montreal hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs next Saturday night in one of 13 games.
The N-H-L's last day will be June 28th if the Stanley Cup final goes the full seven games.
