Police in Welland are releasing photos of property recovered during an investigation into a series of break and enters.

The thefts began in late fall of last year and continued into the early part of this month.

All of the break ins took place during day time hours.

The investigation led to the arrest of a 27 year old man.

Police say David Morrice had been living in the Rose City for about four months.

He faces five counts of break and enter.

Police also seized about 20 thousand dollars worth of stolen property.

Anyone who may have been a victim of the thefts is asked to look at the photos and contact police if they recognize any of the items.
