A rally to save maternity in South Niagara is planned for Saturday, January the 19th.

If you want to protest the move of services from GNGH and Welland hospital to the new St. Catharines NHS site, you are being asked to meet at the Welland Arena, across from the hospital at one o'clock in the afternoon.

Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati and Welland Mayor Barry Sharpe will be in attendance.

Obstetric, pediatric, mental health and other services are slated to move on March 24th.
