Police blotter: Police release identity of victim in weekend fatal

Police have released the name of a man struck and killed on the weekend as he walked along the entrance to the on ramp to the QEW at Dunkirk Road.
The victim has been identified as 59 year old Joseph Kazlauskas of St. Catharines.
The 35 year old driver of the car was not injured.
Police would still like to hear from any witnesses to the accident.

Two youths have been arrested in connection with a November 3rd robbery at Michell's Variety on Empire Street.
A male wearing a Halloween mask armed with a kitchen knife held up the store fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police have arrested a teen in connection with the B and E on Monday at a home in the city.
Stolen property was also recovered and returned to the owner.

A raid on a Page Street apartment in St. Catharines has ended with the arrest of a 42 year old woman on drug related charges.
Police seized a quanity of crack cocaine and prescription drugs.
Denise Cote has been charged with possession and trafficking.
