The NRP have arrested a 71 year old man in connnection to three serperate incidents that occured over the past two years.

The Niagara on The Lake senior has been arrested and charged with sexual assault, common assault and criminal harrasment stemming from three incidents in St Catharines and Niagara Falls.

It's alleged the accused approached each victim and persistently offered them a ride in his van. One victim claims she was sexually assaulted in his van after she had accepted the ride.

Police strongly suggest if any member of the public is approached by a stranger in appropriate manner offering a ride, they should refuse the ride and immediately call the police.
