Massive fire guts Niagara Parkway home
Firefighters in Niagara Falls had a battle on their hands trying to put out a stubborn blaze late yesterday afternoon on the Parkway.
Fire crews were called out just after five to the home near Marshall Road after a blaze started in a garage with flames quickly spreading to the house.
It took over 30 firefighters from two volunteer and one full time station to battle the blaze.
Fire officials say part of the problem, there are no fire hydrants in that area and they had to use water from tanker trucks.
