Very windy morning in Niagara

A wind warning has ended for Niagara after overnight and morning winds reached 60-90 km/hr in many parts of the region.

There are some reports of wind damage, mostly fallen trees and some downed wires.

Winds are expected to calm down this afternoon to about 60 km/hr.

A weather system is also moving into the region today that will bring cold temperatures.

By this afternoon the temperature will drop to minus 4, the high tomorrow is minus 6, Wednesday the high is minus 10, and Thursday minus 7.
