One group happy to see the temperature plummet - icewine pickers and makers.

Inniskillin winemaker Bruce Nicholson tells CKTB they had crews out picking last night to bring in the harvest.

He says once December hits, it becomes an obsession watching the forecast to see when they can pick.

Even thought it's early, Nicholson says they're optimistic on the outcome of the harvest.

Nicholson says they've wrapped up their picking, but other growers are expected to continue picking as the temperature remains low throughout the week.
