Niagara Regional Police say a suspicious package that caused a stink at a Port Colborne post office turned out to be nothing of concern.
The NRP were called to the Canada Post Office on Elm Street this morning (Thurs) after employees became suspicious of a package.
The building was evacuated and the NRP canine and explosive disposal unit were called for assistance.
The package was determined to be non-explosive and removed without incident.
Although the contents of the package have yet to be determined, initial reports from police suggest they believe it to be feces.
