EL Crossley students win AVIVA funding
E.L. Crossley students have won a $115 000 grant to build a skate park in honor of one of their classmates killed in the fall when he was struck by a car while long boarding.
Canada AM was on hand Tuesday morning at the school to announce the winners of the AVIVA Community Fund.
A group of students applied for funding to build a skatepark in Pelham to honour the memory of Isaac Riehl.
Town council has also committed to matching any funds donated by AVIVA to the project.
