Justin Trudeau in studio at CKTB

The snow storm also impacting Liberal leadership hopeful Justin Trudeau's Niagara tour today.

Stops this morning at Niagara College and Brock University have been cancelled .

But Trudeau did stop by the CKTB studios for a chat with Tim Denis.

He says being on the campaign trail has provided the opportunity to stop in cities and towns he has visited before.

But this time around, he's not touring the county with a backpack.

Instead, he's hearing from people who want change and a bigger voice in Ottawa.

Trudeau noting people are tired of MP's representing the interests of the Prime Minister and not representing their voices in Parliament.

On the economy, he says while the numbers look good on paper, individual Canadians are seeing costs rise, personal debt explode while incomes stagnate.

He says he wants to focus on investing in education, greater export opportunities, increased trade with Asia and Europe, more innovation in research, improved productivity while being a responsible fiscal manager.

Trudeau will stop at the Welland Arena from 2 to 3 this afternoon for a meet and greet with members of the public.

Then its back to St. Catharines for a 5 o'clock dinner reception with Liberal Party supporters at the CAW Hall on Bunting Road.
