Today's family day holiday means many closures for businesses and government services in Niagara.
   
Provincial government offices are closed.
   
Some supermarkets will be open, though all L-C-B-O and Beer Store locations are closed, as are banks and public schools.

All essential services provided by Niagara Region will be available on today.

There will be regular garbage and recycling collection. Most Regional offices and facilities will be closed, including:

• Administrative offices

• Sexual health clinics

• Public Health

• Child care services
   
Niagara Region Transit and Niagara Specialized Transit will not be operating on Feb. 18.
