Dog complaint leads to drug bust

A complaint about a trio of vicious dogs led police to an indoor grow operation in St. Catharines.
Police responded to a report of the dogs fighting in the Carlton Street area.
When they arrived, police were forced to shoot and kill two of the animals after they tried to attack =an officer.
The third dog was captured by the LIncoln County Humane Society.
Police then discovered an indoor marijuana grow op at a residence on Cartlon Street.
Officers seized 164 pot plants worth more than 160 thousand dollars.
34 year old Jeremy Riehl of St. Catharines is facing drug related charges.
