A drug investigation by Niagara police has now turned into a murder investigation in Toronto.

Wednesday Toronto cops announcing they have charged alleged Niagara on the Lake drug kingpin, Nick Nero with first degree murder in the shooting death of a 35 year old man at a Toronto patio last June.

Two others are also charged in connection with the murder of John Raposo.

Nero's suspected right hand man Martino Caputo is being held in Germany awaiting extradition .

And a third man, Rabhih Al Khalil is still at large. 

Nero was arrested in May of  last year after police seizied 110 kilos of pure cocaine worth about 30 million dollars out on the streets.
