NRP bust pair for a string of break and enters

Police have caught up to a couple of men allegedly responsible for a series of early morning break ins in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls dating back to December 20-12.

The two men targeted local pizzarias, hair salons and variety stores.

Police say they would smash the glass door to the business to gain entry, commit the robbery, then drive off.

Early this morning, police busted the pair trying to break into a Niagara Falls business.

Charged is 47 year old Kenneth Chapman and 26 year old John Visca, both from Niagara Falls.

Each man is facing 12 counts of break, enter and theft charges, with Visca facing an additional charge for breaching his probation.

The are both being held in custody pending a bail hearing set for today in St. Catharines.
