Four high stakes gamblers who lost more than 2 million dollars playing roulette at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls have lost another round in a bid to get their money back.
The four contend the casino's so called floating ball rule is illegal.
The rule allows roulette dealers to remove a ball if its either stationary while the wheel is spinning or if it spins for a long time without falling into a numbered pocket.
The gamblers tried to prove in court the casino did not have approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission to institute the floating ball rule and therefore all the roulette games were illegal
To add insult to injury not only did two levels of court deny their claim, theyve been ordered to pay about 200 thousand in legal bills for both t he casino and the commission.
