Eight people from Port Colborne facing long list of drug related charges

Niagara Regional Police have arrested eight people from Port Colborne with a long list of drug related charges.
Police say they received information in regards to the sale of illicit drugs in the East Village section of Port Colborne in January.
Yesterday, cops seized almost four thousand dollars in Canadian money and almost a thousand dollars worth of controlled substances like crystal meth, cocaine, and prescription pills.
Charged are 26 year old Jeremy McGilvery, 42 year old James Ruddy, 30 year old Steven Mark Cote and Stephanie Ort, 52 year old Brenda Lassiter, 60 year old Guy Cote, 18 year old Dallas Cote and 36 year old Jeremy Rankin.
Brenda Lassiter was released with a promise to appear while the other seven were held pending a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
