The company taking over tour boats in the lower Niagara River on the Canadian side is launching a lawsuit.
Hornblower Cruises is challenging the legality of a deal awarded to the Glynn Family, which currently runs the Maid of the Mist tours, as it prepares to move over solely to the American side of the Falls.
The company filed the suit Monday in the State Supreme Court.
Chief Executive Terry MacRae says taxpayers aren't getting a fair shake and something should be done about it.
The suit centres around Governor Andrew Cuomo's deal with the Maid of the Mist to keep the Niagara Falls boat tours afloat.
