The design team will take the wraps off of the plans for the proposed Performing Arts Centre in downtown St. Catharines at an open house Thursday in Market Square

You're invited to view the new design between 4:30 and 7pm.

The design team will be on hand to answer questions.

St. Catharines Performing Arts Centre Executive Director Steve Solski says they've had a lot of great minds working on the new design.

Construction was put on hold last summer when bids for the project came in $10 million higher than expected.

That forced city officials to go back to the drawing board and order a new less costly design of the project .

Councillors will be asked to approve the new designs at their next meeting March 18th, with it going to tender in April.
