QEW wrong way driver charged

A 71 year old Waterloo man facing charges after a motorist ended up driving 38 kilometers the wrong way down the QEW early THursday morning
Officers say the vehicle entered the QEW going the wrong way at Burlington Street in Stoney Creek shortly after 1:30 in the morning.
Police were able to keep traffic out of the Toronto-bound lanes using a "rolling block" to keep vehicles from getting on the highway.
Officers layed a spike belt at Jordan Road and the vehicle began to slow.
It finally came to a stop just past 16 Mile Creek in Lincoln when officers positioned their cars to block the wrong way driver .
Danny Krill has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police.
