As the saying goes it 's better to be safe than sorry.

A concerned citizen in Grimsby called police Wednesday evening to report an adult who had physically picked up a boy walking down Nelles Road and place the boy in a car.

The two then left the area.

After an extensive investigation it turned out it was a father dealing with an uncooperative son.

Police talked to all parties and say there was no evidence of any wrongdoing.
