An ugly bench-clearing brawl broke out at the Canada-Mexico game at the World Baseball Classic in Phoenixa.
   
Leading 9-3 in the ninth inning, Canada tied to score more runs.
   
The Mexican pitcher -- thinking the Canadians were trying to show up his team -- threw the ball deliberately at the Canadian batter.
   
That triggered both benches to clear and players to trade punches.
   
Both managers blame it on a misunderstanding.
