It is the most famous chimney in the world.

The smoke that billows out of the Sistine Chapel chimney signals whether a new Pope has been chosen or not.  White smoke means the decision has been made.  Black smoke means the Cardinals could not come to a decision on the latest ballet, meaning no new Pope.

News organizations across the globe have cameras focused on the chimney, live streaming it online. 

As well, a Sistine Chapel chimney Twitter account has also cropped up.

So far, only black smoke has wafted out of the chimney.
