A fire in St. Catharines last night has ravaged a home that was vacant and under renovations.

The fire started at 9:23 at 73 Queen Street, across from Montebello Park.

Fire officials say the blaze started on the porch and quickly spread to the roof.

It took six fire trucks, but the fire was completely out by one o'clock this morning.

There were no injuries reported.

The St. Catharines Fire Department is treating the fire as suspicious and continue to investigate.
