Welland man arrested for attempted break in

Police in Welland are thanking the public for a quick arrest in an attempted break in.
A 27 year old Welland man is in trouble for allegedly trying to break into backyard sheds yesterday afternoon (March 16).
Neighbours in the area of Marc Boulevard and Southworth Street called police when they noticed a suspicious looking man looking into sheds and trespassing on properties.
Cops arrived and searched the area only to find the man hiding inside a detached garage on Southworth Street.
Corey St. Cyr of Chantal Court in the Rose City was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent, possession of break in tools, possession of a controlled substance and probation violations.
St. Cyr will be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
