The city of St. Catharines and Horizon Utiltities are teaming up ahead of Earth Hour to educate local residents on ways to reduce their energy use.

An information booth will be set up Thursday at Market Square from 8 to 3.

The booth will feature energy conservation posters made by Grade 5 students from across the city.

Earth Hour, the global movement that asks everyone to power down for one hour, runs Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
