NHS announces renovations at the Douglas Memorial Hospital Site
Just weeks after the opening of the brand new St Catharines hospital the Niagara Health System is set to see another area-hospital undergo renovations.
The NHS have announced they have recieved government approval to move ahead with renovations at the Douglas Memorial Hospital site in Fort Erie.
The project will see the relocation of all complex care beds at the site to one area and will also result in patient improvements to the Palliative care area.
The project, with an estimated cost of 500 thousand dollars, is set to start construction immediately.
