GM recalling Chevy Cruze
General Motors is recalling 45-thousand Chevy Cruze compact cars in Canada and almost 300-thousand in the United States.
It's because the power brake boosters can fail, forcing the driver to put more pressure on the brake pedal to stop the car.
G-M says the problem has caused 27 low-speed crashes, but no injuries.
The recall affects 2011 and 2012-model Cruzes with 1.4-litre turbocharged engines and six-speed automatic transmissions.
This is the eighth Chevy Cruze recall since the car went on sale in North America almost three years ago.
Previous recalls were for oil leaks that presented a fire hazzard, fuel tanks coming loose, side air bag malfunctions, and problems with the steering and transmissions.
