Province provides new funding for Niagara Children's Centre
Another step forward by the provincial governemt to reduce wait times and improve how families of children and youth with special needs access the services they need in Niagara.
The Liberals are promising over $151, 000 per year to the Niagara Children's Centre to provide youngsters with improved access to rehabilitation services.
The NCC provides a wide range of services including physical, occupational and speech and language therapy.
The grant will also help special needs students transition into school.
St. Catharines MPP Jim Bradley made the announcement on Monday and says, “the Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre is doing a marvellous job for Niagara's children and youth with special needs.
This additional funding will enable the children’s centre to continue providing crucial services to vulnerable young people”, added Bradley.
