Niagara Falls, New York mall to get facelift
A Niagara Falls hotel owner could be part of a major revitalization across the border.
Intertrust, a company run by the DiCienzo family is in the running to revive the old Rainbow Mall in Niagara Falls, New York.
The DiCienzo's along with Buffalo's largest commerical real estate company have both been selected to submit plans to redevelop the site.
Intertrust's plan includes turning the mall near the Rainbow Bridge into an upscale, mixed use entertainment development with franchise restaurants, a retail plaza and a hotel.
The mall has been sitting mostly vacant since its last anchor tenant left in 1999.
