LCHS contract to be discussed at St. Catharines Council
The man leading the Lincoln County Humane Society says he's encouraged leading into a discussion at council over a new agreement.

City staff recommending council re-sign, but divert money away from euthanzation towards adoptions instead following controversy over the shelter's refusal to adopt a no-kill policy.
Executive Director Kevin Strooband says sometimes euthanzation is the only option, but it's not their preferred option.
He says over the last few years they've been doing a much better job at re-homing.
Also in the report, surrendered animals would have to be brought to the shelter as opposed to being picked up in an effort to make owners more accountable.
