Isaac Riehl Memorial Skate Park groundbreaking
Work on the Issac Riehl Skate Park is set to officially get underway.
A groundbreaking ceremony 5pm Wednesday at Marlene Stewart Streit Park will mark the beginning of construction.
Isaac, a Grade 9 EL Crossley student, was killed October 2012 while he was longboarding.
A community movement won funding from Aviva Canada Inc. to build a memorial skate park in his honour.
The ceremony comes ahead of a "How Might We" public meeting in Pelham on longboarding at the Fenwick Fire Station.
