OPP search for cause of QEW limo fire
The investigation continues into a limo fire on the QEW.
It happened Tuesday night when a family of six from Niagara on the Lake were heading home from the Buffalo Airport.
As they got near Thorold Stone Road the driver noticed smoke pouring into the front seat.
He quickly pulled over and helped four people out of the limo, with another two crawling out a passenger window to safety.
OPP say the limo was made by a California company and they want to know if there was a mechanical failure similar to the one that killed a bride and four friends riding in a limo in California earlier this year.
