Niagara Falls could get the last laugh
Niagara Falls one of three muncipalities that could become the new home of the Canadian Comedy Hall of Fame.
The Canadian Comedy Foundation has reportedly pitched the idea to officials in the Honeymoon City as well as Hamilton and Ottawa.
The Foundation has also approached a group out of Woodbine Racetrack.
Which ever muncipality agrees to become the hall of fame's new home, would also host the Canadian Comedy Awards.
A frontman for the foundation has told Hamilton councillors it would cost the city about 250 thousand a year over five years, but would bring in millions in spinoff dollars.
